Thank you!, ¡Gracias!
Thank you for your interest and support of Boricuas Unidos de Elgin. Whether you’ve made a donation, applied as a vendor, reached out about volunteering or sponsorships, or simply taken the time to learn more about our mission, we are truly grateful. Your support helps us celebrate and preserve Puerto Rican culture, build community connections, and continue creating meaningful events like BoricuaFest for everyone to enjoy. We are honored to have such a passionate and committed community standing with us—your involvement makes all the difference.

Boricuas Unidos de Elgin was formed from a proud legacy that began in 1992, when a dedicated Puerto Rican committee came together to host the very first Puerto Rican Parade and Festival in Elgin, Illinois. What started as a grassroots effort grew into a beloved community tradition that proudly continued for nearly 20 years, with 2011 marking the final festival of that original era. Today, we are honored to revive and carry forward this meaningful tradition for our community. Our Boricuas Unidos de Elgin team works with deep respect for those who laid the foundation before us, and with a renewed commitment to celebrating Puerto Rican culture, history, and unity. Through our events—especially BoricuaFest—and the opportunities shared on this site, we hope to preserve this legacy and pass it on for generations to come.
